N.Ramachandraiah, the founder-chairman of Sri Lakshmi Group of Institutions (SLGI) , was born on January 4, 1955 in Bangalore , Karnataka . N.Ramachandraiah’s life is a source of inspiration to the aspiring youth.
N.Ramachandraiah founded Sri Lakshmi Group of Institutions in 2000 at Sunkadakatte , Bangalore . He envisioned that this Institution would offer World-Class Education to students who would in turn create an indelible impact on the society. The Nursing college that started with an intake of 80 students in 2001 has evolved as Institutions with best campuse. Over 6,000 students are enrolled in 29 different courses . It attracts students and professors from different states of the country . It houses more than 50 international students on campus. For the past two years, SLGI has been ranked #1 private institutions in Karnataka .
Due to his passion for societal development and compassion for the underprivileged, N Ramachandraiah has created several job opportunities for unemployed youth in the region to help them become self-reliant. He offers scholarships to students from disadvantaged sections of the society to enable them to pursue higher education. He has established the Danavanthri Trust to create opportunities for higher education to every deserving student in the region.
